The selected stone shows on the homepage as the Deal of the Moment for every visitor. It stays put across page refreshes until you change it, until it sells, or until 24 hours have elapsed since selection — at which point the homepage automatically falls back to a random un-sold stone and this panel flags it as stale.

Sale rules override the global catalog discount for a subset of stones — by shape, color, clarity, carat range, or specific stock IDs. When more than one rule matches a stone, the deepest discount wins. The global discount stays as the baseline floor.

Click a stone's Avail / SOLD chip to flip it. Sold stones are skipped by the Deal-of-the-Moment picker.
